Siding That Looks Like You Put It On Yesterday. For 30 Years.
Siding is the part of your home that takes the most weather. Sun, snow, wind, hail, rain. All year, every year. When it starts to fade, warp, crack, or peel, the whole house starts to look tired even if the roof is brand new.
We install full siding systems built to handle Chicago weather and look great while doing it. Vinyl in a full color and profile range. LP SmartSide engineered wood for the homes that want the real-wood look without the maintenance. Soffit, fascia, and trim to finish the home top to bottom.
Seven steps that turn old siding into a finished, weather-tight exterior.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quality vinyl siding typically lasts 30 to 40 years in the Chicago climate. LP SmartSide engineered wood is rated for 50 years. Both come with strong manufacturer warranties when installed by a certified contractor.
Residential siding replacement typically runs $7 to $13 per square foot of wall surface for premium vinyl, and $11 to $18 per square foot for LP SmartSide engineered wood. Final price depends on the home's wall area, soffit and fascia condition, window count, trim package, and access. Every Americanstruction siding proposal includes a fixed scope and line-item pricing.
LP SmartSide is engineered wood siding made from real wood strands bonded with a moisture-resistant resin. It looks and feels like wood, holds paint better than vinyl, and resists impact, hail, and pests. LP backs it with a 50-year limited warranty. We are an LP Building Solutions Preferred Contractor.
It can. We install all our siding over a 1/4 inch fanfold underlayment that adds insulation, rigidity, and a flatter finish appearance. The added thermal layer reduces drafts and air infiltration through the exterior walls, which lowers heating and cooling demand year-round.
Localized damage from storms, hail, or impact can often be repaired with matching panels if the existing color and profile are still manufactured. Faded, brittle, or widely damaged siding usually warrants full replacement because new panels will not match aged siding, and partial repairs lose value as the surrounding panels continue to degrade.
Yes. If your siding has hail, wind, or impact damage from a covered storm event, we document the damage with photo evidence, drone aerial coverage when warranted, and a written report formatted for direct submission to your insurance carrier. We meet your adjuster on the property and handle all contractor paperwork through the claim. See our Storm Damage & Insurance Restoration page for the full process.
